Our Assistant Principal

I cannot express what an honor it is for me to begin my first year as Assistant Principal of Delores Moye Elementary School. I am incredibly excited to continue serving the students, staff, and families of Moye in this new role.

Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at Moye, I served as the school’s Behavior Interventionist for the past two years, where I had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families while supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth. Before coming to Moye, I worked as a special education teacher in the Peoria, Illinois area and later served as both an Administrative Intern and Special Education Teacher in Edwardsville District 7. These experiences helped shape my passion for supporting all students and ensuring every child has the tools and opportunities needed to be successful.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Illinois State University and later completed my graduate degree in Educational Administration at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Throughout my career in education, I have been passionate about creating supportive learning environments where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow both academically and socially.

My goal at Moye Elementary is to support students in any way that best fits their individual needs while working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to help every child succeed. I believe strong relationships, open communication, and a positive school culture are essential in helping students reach their fullest potential. I am committed to supporting our staff, partnering with families, and helping create meaningful learning experiences for all students.
